Village Chimney Services Inc operates a transactional customer care SMS program used to respond to individuals who have voluntarily provided their phone number through the chat widget on our sign-up page. Messages are related to the customer's own chimney, fireplace, or hearth service inquiry — including appointment scheduling, service updates, and follow-up communication. This program is not a marketing or promotional program.
You opt in by starting a chat on our sign-up page, providing your phone number, and agreeing to receive text messages. Enrollment is entirely optional and is not required to contact us or receive service. You can always reach us by phone at (707) 429-0777 or by email at villagechimney@aol.com without enrolling in text messages.
Message frequency varies depending on the status of your service request. Typical volume is one to five messages per open service inquiry. You will not receive unsolicited or recurring promotional messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for the specifics of your plan. We do not charge you separately for text messages, but standard carrier rates may apply based on your mobile service agreement.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Once you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will not receive further text messages from Village Chimney Services Inc unless you opt back in.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Village Chimney Services Inc, its mobile carriers, and the underlying messaging platform providers are not responsible for messages that are delayed, lost, or not delivered due to factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier service interruptions, signal availability, device compatibility, or network congestion.
You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to and use our SMS program. By opting in, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the phone number you provide belongs to you and that you are authorized to receive text messages at that number.
Information you provide through the SMS program is handled according to our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
